NEWSTAR LED's WS2815 Digital LED Strip is similar to the WS2813 but powered by DC12V. WS2815 RGB 5050 LED  Strip is continuous breakpoint transmission which means if one LED stops working the data signal continues and the rest of the strip will still light up as usual thanks to a backup data signal.

Advantage:

1.DC12V operating voltage instead of DC5V, the LED strip has lower voltage drop at long distances.

2.Backup data line from previous LED so that a defective LED has no influence on the rest of the LEDs. Two defective WS2815 LEDs behind each other have influence, however that chance is minimal of course. 

3.Less tight timing of the reset signal so that the WS2815 LED can work better with low-end microcontrollers

4.Normal WS2815 Digital Strip is integrated resistor and capacitor, however the performance is not so stable and heat dissipation is not good, especially for 144pcs leds per meter, NEWSTAR's WS2815 LED Light Strip is with external capacitor now, not only the function is same as WS2815, but also with stable performance and better heat dissipation.
