NEWSTAR has come out with NEW WS2815 RGBW LED which is powered by DC12V. WS2815 RGBW 5050 LED  Strip is also continuous breakpoint transmission which means if one LED stops working the data signal continues and the rest of the strip will still light up as usual thanks to a backup data signal.

Advantage:

1. RGBW with more lighting choices. 

2. DC12V operating voltage instead of DC5V, the LED strip has lower voltage drop at long distances.

3. Backup data line from previous LED so that a defective LED has no influence on the rest of the LEDs. Two defective WS2815 LEDs behind each other have influence, however that chance is minimal of course.
